DANCE. DONATE. DARE.
Stop What You’re Doing and Dance!
Dance4Diabetes is the brand-new FUNdraiser for Diabetes Australia – giving everyone the opportunity to show off their dance moves while raising funds for vital diabetes research and support.
Dance4Diabetes is SIMPLE. Get your dancing shoes on and have someone film you strutting your stuff, share your video on social media, make a small donation and then dare 3 of your friends to do the same. Be sure to mention in your video if you’re dancing for someone living with diabetes.
Dance4Diabetes is FUN – yet will make a real difference at the same time. Dancing has a wide range of physical and mental benefits. It’s also a great way of getting active and can help people manage all types of diabetes and reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes.
Why DANCE. DONATE. DARE.?
There are 1.7 million Australians living with diabetes. It doesn’t discriminate.
It affects people at any age and stage of life.
Diabetes is our country’s fastest growing chronic condition – 1 person is diagnosed every 5 minutes.
There is currently no cure for diabetes.
We urgently need to fund more research to treat and prevent the condition.
